Preggo Land

Hello from the my world of Preggo Land. In Preggo Land all food tastes better; no clothes you wore two weeks ago fit now; commercials can make you cry at a whim (really -- the "Where the Wild Things Are" movie trailer will make you shed a tear); you are constantly aware when walking into a room that people are sizing up your stomach (half are thinking "she's pregnant," the other half, "she needs to go on a diet"); your husband may lay his hand on your belly and say, "You are progressing, aren't you." (really, no joke he did say that!); you are constantly reminded that you have something that needs to be done before the baby comes; and finally ~ you realize that you are going to be a mom very soon ~ and that's awesome. :)

At 19 weeks we are still super busy with getting our house ready for baby. I am a little over being busy but that's what it takes to get stuff done! Jess and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary last night by going to a new restuarant which was fantastic. This weekend we are going to go furniture shopping and hopefully get some new things for the finished basement. I need to finish our registries but am waiting until we find out if it is a girl or boy, one week from today! Stay tuned for more updates on the house this weekend.
