Good luck Katie

When the going gets tough -- the tough survive and curse the day of their bad luck

In my life, I have encountered bad luck, good luck, and all the luck you have ever seen in between. Luck found in the tops of the trees; blessings within the bathroom stall that is not clogged; leaky milk jugs that have spilled throughout my frig; stepping in dog poop to discover I stepped on a nail. Of course all of the good luck is better to write. Let's pinpoint the bad:

Falling in love with a dog that sheds abnormal amounts of dog hair so that even in December I find tumble weeds of dog hair around my kitchen chairs = bad.

Discovering Clorox Clean Wipes, their awesome uses -- and their costs = bad.

A great car that is awesome in all respects, but the tune ups that are necessary cost an arm and a leg = bad.

Enough bad, let in the good:

Sawyer did not cry on the plane take-off and the people next to me complimented him on being a good baby.

My husband cleaned the house and did all sorts of cool things for us while I was gone -- yah, not really sure how this works technically for good luck -- but I do feel lucky for my life with Jess, so that works in there somewhere.

My Sister's generosity : Katie is struggling but still sent Jess and I a $50 gift card to Starbucks that we JUST finished. How does that work? Sister, I really owe you for that one.

Katie I know things are up in the air but you will figure it out. Good luck/bad luck -- remember that you can always run away to Colorado! (at least for now! - ha! -) Lv, U!
