Theme songs & nanny blessings

I have to admit something to anyone who is interested -- I am a big (HUGE) fan of theme songs for my own personal life. I am not really sure how this came about but there it is: I have a personal theme song to go with lots of different situations. When I am cleaning the house -- I usually sing a CAKE song. When I am bored -- I get the Terminator II orchestra theme song stuck in my head. If I ever have to pick a song to go up to bat at, it would be Show Me from Mint Royale. My all time favorite song to dance with my husband (besides our wedding song) -- is Devendra's Lover

And these songs always change. For instance lately when I am in a bad mood I sing Damned by White Buffalo -- not because it has anything to do with me, I just like how chorus is "damned if you do, damned if you don't." Also I'm not a huge fan of Beyonce but the Single Ladies song always gets stuck in my head when walking around Denver. And then I think of that Sat. Night Live skit - hilarious.

The point of me writing this? I decided that my sister needed a theme song and since she loved the musical Annie growing up, Jay Zs It's a Hard Knock Life seems like a good one. However, Sister, maybe the White Buffalo song fits better.

On a better note: our new nanny is working out ~ thank God! More to come on that.
