Sawyer vs. garlic bread -- the epic battle unfolds

Sorry. Before reading this you should be forewarned -- there are no photos or video to go with this post. Yah, I know -- flipping lame. But when you are a parent with: a 6 month old, a full time nanny share at your house, a 12 year old dog that decides she is the boss of the baby, and married to an awesome man (that accidentally tells you about your surprise b-day party) -- then you can explain to me how to take photos (and video) of every moment of your random Tuesday night.

However, even sans photo, I had to post because I wanted to share our solid food battle that ensued tonight: Sawyer vs. garlic bread. Sawyer has just started eating solid foods at every meal. Tonight I made us crockpot cream of mushroom soup chicken with rice and steamed broccoli. This is a once a month meal for us because it is easy. Tonight I made it because for the first time, I took out our food processor and made him baby food with it. Suffice to write, he did not like it, at all.

Yesterday he ate pasta and sucked on pieces of garlic bread that we put in front of him. He LOVED the garlic bread (just like his mom! see old blog posting for confirmation). We had saved a piece for him from yesterday and put that down. He freaked out. Loved it. Got pissed because he didn't have the hand eye coordination to put it in his mouth fast enough. Hilarious. Are you asking what is the epic battle? His hand eye coordination vs. garlic bread. I will post another video soon so that you can see what I mean. Love to you all!
