About once a week we take Sawyer to the indoor kids' play place down the street that we are members of (The Village). It is a great place to go for an hour or so to let Sawyer run around, climb up on stuff, and socialize with other kids. Over the last few times we have gone, Sawyer has inexplicably attracted several little girls to follow him around.
Here are his basic moves. First, when we come in he runs through the play area screaming, checking out who is there. He then pretty much goes up to every person to check them out a little, smiles, then runs away - of course - he is still screaming/yelling when he runs away. That is the hook, the little girls then (I imagine) are perplexed and proceed to follow him around.
Yesterday, there was a cute little girl following him around and he sat on her, poked her in the eye, fell on top of her, ignored her -- and she continued to follow him. Her mother and I just laughed. It was really cute but also I thought, "Oh no, we have so much trouble on our hands."
On another note -- my husband is awesome and the best father ever! Also, Sawyer had his first happy meal this weekend and didn't really eat any of it except a few fries. However, we did video tape and photograph the whole event. And finally Sawyer is climbing EVERYTHING he can in our house. Seriously. It is not good. Love to you all!
