Rain rain go away, please come back another day

Everyday I drive into downtown Denver, park on a neighborhood street a few blocks away, and then walk around 3/4 of a mile to the office. On a nice day, I look forward to those walks. This was not a nice day -- at least not in the afternoon. This afternoon I walked through torrential downpour to get to my car. I had to buy an umbrella and half way down the first block, it turned inside out and broke. I waded through knee high water in 4 different spots. I almost lost my shoes from the strength of the water rushing past. I ran most of the way soaking wet, pregnant, holding my broken umbrella over my head to protect my face so that I could see where I was going. It was unbelievable. And so, dear reader, I took a few photos to memorialize the moment. The last one was taken right when I got home. Enjoy! Love to you all!
