We have decided on a theme to decorate the nursery - Where the Wild Things Are - and it turns out that this was Jess' favorite book as a kid (info courtesy of his mom -- thanks Brenda!). This information obviously explains a lot. But also makes it really fun to decorate our little boy's room with his Dad's favorite childhood book images.
It has been hard to find a nursery bedding set that would match with our nursery theme but I found one that is pretty plain that would work from Pottery Barn Kids.
Then we will be putting images from the book into frames and getting a few wall decals of the characters for the walls. There are also stuffed animals for the characters that we are going to get -- and with the new movie coming out we hope to have some more ideas for nursery decor.
