Thank goodness I am an insomniac by nature

At the end of week five of my son's life, I am starting to get used to the late nights and severely early mornings -- somewhat. Being an insomniac since middle school (seriously, ask my Mom -- it used to drive her nuts), I am used to the long nights of sleeplessness. However the difference is that I am now awake listening for my child's whimpers/cries which doesn't just keep me awake at night -- he keeps me on my feet.

When he does fall asleep though, he is cuter than all get out. His favorite sleeping position is spread eagle.
